The exploration of varying degrees

of interaction between human-made

and naturally grown elements results in

three sculptures that incorporate living plants.

How does it feel when we are in

direct touch to nature? How are we

treating nature and how would it be

to incorporate more plants into the

built environment?

The collection explores the contrasts

between organic and synthetic,

as well as organic and graphic elements,

with plant growth enhancing or dissolving

some of these contrasts.

For a festival, I wanted to create an arch

where plants would grow on the inside,

allowing visitors to wander through

and pause, experiencing direct contact

with the soft greenery.

This project aims to develop a prototype

for a practical vertical textile garden.

It is modular, with a watering system that

relies on gravity for water distribution.

The Slow Travel Residency in Scotland

ended with an exhibition in Edinburgh

where I presented two pieces
