In this collection, I combine - or contrast different materials. Materials of natural origin and synthetics. Organic shapes and straight lines should enhance this contrast. Growing plants on various materials should lower these contrasts, or even enhance them.
We associate organic lines to be more natural. The straight lines should symbolize the human interference in natural lines. But these straight lines give space for plants to grow.
What if we would integrate plants and nature in our designs? Here I want to show , that there are no clear borders between what is human and what not.
How do organic shapes appear when the material is synthetic vs. plants growing? How does the geometric break appears?
